Ravens prepared for a Super Bowl run after impressive draft

The Ravens transition from Ozzie Newsome to Eric DeCosta has gone swimmingly.  They had countless draft picks this season and made quite a haul.  Their big pick being Joe Burrow’s college teammate linebacker Patrick Queen.  In a season of success, their biggest weakness was at the inside linebacker position, where they did not have a No. 1 option following the departure of C.J. Mosley.  This was displayed when Derrick Henry ran right through them in a humbling playoff loss following a record-breaking season.  Joining a team notorious for drafting great linebackers must feel good for Queen and having filled a new middle linebacker to cheer for must feel good for Ravens fans.

Despite interior defensive problems, the Ravens finished top five in defense last year.  With NFL MVP Lamar Jackson at the helm, an elite special teams, and one of the best cornerback tandems in the league, the Ravens are contending for a Super Bowl this season.  They must win it soon before the rest of the AFC North catches up to them.
